Please ignore this route!
Although the hill route is shorter, the road is very narrow and winding and is
therefore NOT suitable for motorhomes or caravans.

Roseto degli Abruzzi motorway exit
take the SS150 and then the seafront road
towards Camping Surabaja La Playa – approximately 10 km.
- Use the Via Marco Polo underpass (height clearance: 5 m). It is located in the southern part of Roseto degli Abruzzi. Then continue along the seafront road (Lungomare Trieste / Lungomare Trento) heading north to reach the campsite.
Note for Thursdays:
The traditional weekly market takes place on Thursdays, and the seafront road is closed to traffic until 2:00 p.m.
- Alternatively, or when the market is taking place, you can use the Via Emilia underpass (height clearance: 3.40 m), located on the SS16 in the central area of Roseto degli Abruzzi.
Motorway exit Mosciano Sant’Angelo – Giulianova
take the SS80 and then the SS16
towards Camping Surabaja La Playa – approximately 13 km.
- Route via the Via Emilia underpass with a 3.40 m height clearance, located on the SS16 in the central area of Roseto degli Abruzzi.
- Route via the Via Marco Polo underpass with a 5 m height clearance, located in the southern part of Roseto degli Abruzzi. Then continue along the seafront road (Lungomare Trieste / Lungomare Trento) heading north to reach the campsite.
